THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua),4 and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word."5 Catechism of the Catholic Church
Baptisms take place during one of the weekend Masses. Baptism Preparation is required for the first child that is baptized in this parish. Please contact us a couple of months in advance of desired date.
Baptism Information form is attached.
Godparent form is attached. Please print off (1 for each person) and have your Godparent(s) fill out and return ASAP.
Note: Only 1 Godparent is required. If you have 2 it is recommended that they be 1 Male and 1 Female.
Baptized Christians of other denominations cannot be considered Godparents, they can be a "witness".
